I have a special place in my heart for children which lead me to babysitting while in middle, high school and college. When I got to college I took interest in children with special needs which lead to multiple volunteer and work opportunities working with and caring for children. I was an intern at ABC of North Carolina which is a developmental school for children with autism. During this time I worked in an inclusive environment, therefore there were children who have autism and typical children, ages 3-6. I have also volunteered with multiple organizations that help better the lives of children. While at school I would babysit a 1 year old on an as needed basis. Being a division I student athlete I have had countless opportunities to work volleyball camps and clinics for children all ages. I was also the head coach of my own girls club volleyball Read more team (U11) and am currently the assistant coach for a U15 team. Right now I live with my 4 and 6 year old cousins and therefore, I not only babysit them I am also an active positive adult figure in their lives. I love nothing more than spending time with them and having the opportunity to watch them grow!
