I have been around children most of my life. My nephew lived in my house while I was a teenager and I helped to raise him from the age of about 6 months to 4 years old. I have babysat for several different families over the years and have loved every minute of it! I believe that it is very important to keep the children occupied and engaged. I do not like the idea of sticking the child in front of the TV or a game. While babysitting I try to engage children in different artistic and educational activities.
