I was a professional nanny for 7 yrs. for a couple of amazing families before marrying and starting a family. At that time, I decided to combine my love of all kiddos and not wanting to leave my own yet, and opened my own successful home based daycare, that I operated for 12 years. Upon the closure of my daycare, due to strict HOA regulations, I began working as a teacher and also managing their infant/toddler center. I enjoyed all aspects of my childcare experience from being a nanny, to home based daycare owner to manager/teacher of a childcare facility. The pleasure that I obtain from teaching/caring for little ones is like no other! I've had many people say that they don't understand how I can tolerate this profession and honestly, I prefer "little people" to adults.
