I have been working with children for more then ten years and I wouldn't change that for anything. Growing up in a house where my dad was a high school teacher and my mom ran the entirety of the youth cheerleading program, I knew from a young age working with kids was what I wanted to do. I began helping out my mom at the Duxbury recreation department, in which we taught cheerleading and gymnastic camps to young kids. My twin sister and I soon took over when my mom retired. Shortly after I became an assistant teacher in the summers at preschool playmates and did that all the way up until my sophomore year of college. Afterwards I decided I wanted to try and become a camp counselor, so I got a job at a stay away sports camp in the Berkshires, where it ranged from ages 5 to Read more 16. I was the head of the gymnastics and cheerleading, fitness, and wood shop programs. Working at this camp was life changing and I feel the experience really helped me become a better educator. I then worked at Sweet Peas Children's Center where I became a certified teacher and I also became first aid and cpr certified. Shortly after, this preschool was moved to a new location, so I began working at a new preschool in Norwell called, Younger University. Although I loved this school, I decided it was time to move on to the elementary level and get experience in a public school. I am so grateful for the two years at East Elementary, not only did I learn a lot, but I made everlasting memories, friendships, and little buddies. This past May of 2022 I packed up my life in MA and moved to Florida with my twin sister. It has always been a dream of ours to not only work with kids, but share our passion of competitive cheerleading while doing so. We are both now coaching at an all star cheerleading gym, Alpha Athletics, and hope to open a place of our own one day. In the meantime I would love to connect with a family who is searching for an outgoing, fitness lover, patient, and friendly babysitter willing to share their passion for working with kids!
