My main professional focus since I graduated in 2002, in my home country Brazil, has always been education, especially for young learners. I m a certified teacher there and I taught Portuguese, but mostly English as a second language for about 20 years to a variety of students including kindergarten ones. I did that until 2006 when I finally came to US to be an Au pair and left 2 years later to resume my career in Brazil with more cultural awareness and fluency in English. After all, this experience abroad was the best experience in my life and I had the opportunity to live with 2 different American families and care for their 3 especial and great children full of energy, love and news things to teach me! I was already passionate for kids before I took this opportunity, but this program showed me that regardless nationalities kids will Read more always be kids and they have so much to give and they can be so fun that you just need to show them that you enjoy being around them and that you care.
