My name is Alison Garopolo and I'm 23 years old. I currently work as a 6th grade teacher. I teach ELA and World History. Before teaching, I worked as a nanny for over 3 years. I took care of two children who were 3 months old and 2 when I started. Before that, I worked at a child care center for 2 years teaching a class of 1 1/2 - 2 year olds. My passion is teaching and inspiring children. There is truly no greater gift to receive than seeing a child learn and understand something that you taught them. Seeing that imaginary lightbulb go off in their head is something that never gets old to me. I believe that in order to be a great teacher, you have to be a constant learner.
