Thank you in advance for reading. My recent work experience is not from the Nanny-World, as I have been in the hospitality/corporate realm for the past 15 years, but I have always been caring for children in some capacity throughout my life; beginning by watching all the babies & little kids in my neighborhood, (my first actual paid profession, starting at 12 years old,) later volunteering in my church nursery, and most notably and recently: Raising my own son (who turns 15 this September, yikes!) I am at a point in my life where I am seeking a positive change for myself by doing something that makes me happy and brings me a satisfaction that my adult work experiences have not been able to provide. I am most at peace with the world when I am caring for people (especially little ones,) and I am trying to be true to that in Read more myself. I greatly miss being around babies and little kids, and I know that I can be of great value as a caregiver. I take that responsibility very seriously, as the person you entrust to care for your children must live up to a greater expectation than someone in the workforce. For that reason, please know that I am an open book to you, and I must say upfront that my CPR and First Aid certification expired many years ago. If you require or would feel more comfortable with current certification, I will gladly retake them asap. I am currently looking into updating my certifications now.
