Meet Brittney

Hey there! My name is Brittney and I cannot wait to meet your family. Abit about my background: I have been working in childcare for 4+ years with families directly and within a classroom setting. I started off working at a home daycare in my teens as a summer job. Since I had a great experience I decided to continue in the childcare field working as a nanny and teacher. In 2017 i received my Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). Due to this experience, I have worked with various age groups between 0-11yrs. Naturally, I am a kid at heart. I have a ton of energy when it comes to the little ones. Once I meet them, I get into playing and learning in their world. With my teacher background, I know it's important to implement teachable moments within play. I strive to create activities specifically for the needs and Read more nessessry milestones within the child's age group. I love the arts and teaching in general. If your child has specific interests, I am all about nurturing those gifts. I love anything domestic so I can easily teach your child how to make chores fun, teaching them how to prep their own meals and creating a routine. In previous employment I have been ahead of afterschool programs which include snack prep, homework help, decompressing after a long day with games and fun. When it comes to thebhousehold, I am open to doing cooking and light cleaning. Just communicate with me on what you'd like me to do, show me my tools and workspace, and I'm ready! I am not afraid of getting messy with crafts, singing songs and being silly. With my prior experience of creating routines that fit well with my students, I can create one for your child that includes their needs and fun activities. Whatever you need, I will attempt!
