Hi I'm Ana, I've been working with little people for over 30+ yrs. I first started as a teenage babysitter for my moms friends, watching 3 kids at a time. Later I became a mom myself and stayed home, which was a wonderful privilege. I would frequently go to my mom's school where she taught and helped out with her elementary class and I taught Sunday school and coordinated programs/activities for kids. Now that my own 3 kids are all young adults and off at college and working, I'm looking to work with little people again. My passion for working with children stems from the very unique way they see the world and I understand how much they themselves want to be seen. My love and care for them stems from a knowledge that they are the most precious of people and are the most trusting. I've learned a lot over the years about children and how it can be hard for them to navigate and process the world and I enjoy helping them along their journey of self discovery. As someone who has a natural way with people, but especially little people, I'm sensitive and intuitive to their needs and enjoy providing a safe, consistent, and comforting energy to help them learn and grow. My experience is with all ages, special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum, and I have been called on more than one occasion "the baby whisperer". As a mom, I have a lot of respect for consistency, not just for the sake of the child, knowing that they thrive in a consistent environment, but also the sake of the hard work each parent puts into their child's developmental process. I enjoy playing, even now as an adult I still paint, dance, do lyra, read, and still play with my legos. My love for children truly stems from the little girl who lives in me too. I am willing to do light cleaning, cooking, and driving. I have references if needed and I look forward to getting to you and your wonderful children.
