I have been working with children half my life. I have been a counselor for 2-5 years olds for at a summer camp and a youth adviser assistant for grades kindergarten through eight grade. I have been a counselor for under-privilege kids from a inter-city Atlanta Georgia for Memorial Day weekend for the four years of high school. I have volunteer at a hippotherapy center which is a type of therapy that uses horses' movement to help children with disabilities. I have a lot of babysitting experience, the youngest was about 3 month old while watching a 2, 4, 7 and 10 year old and the most kids was 8 under the age of 3. I also have 5 nieces and nephews that I love to the moon and back. However, I have a diagnoses called dystonia. It affects my fine motor skills and my speech. I have never let Read more my disability stop me from anything, especially when it comes to working with children. I am very patient, caring, outgoing, reliable and fun individual despite my dystonia. I graduated with a 3.4 at FAU with a BS in Exercise Science and Health Promotions. I'm in the process of getting my physical therapy assistant license starting this summer. I plan on going to graduate school to become a pediatric physical therapist in the future. Brittany is great! We met over Facetime the first time and she came in the morning promptly as discussed. She kept us up to date with photos and texts which I really appreciated. She's very nice and personable and my daughter seemed to have a good time with her.
