Hello, I'm Susan, a mother of 3 grown children, grandmother of 2 boys, ages 7 and 9. During my years as a stay at home mom, I vounteered each year in various positions in order to be involved with my children's lives/schooling. These included Sunday school teacher, preschool aid, arts/crafts demonstrator/helper, music masterpiece program, playground supervisor, lunchroom supervisor, physical education volunteer/aid, and many other projects that came up during the year. I was active in a community organization called Women of Today (much like a local Jaycees) and chaired local fund raising projects including Arts/crafts shows, Harvest Festivals, talent shows to name a few. I am an artist and have much experience working with children of all ages doing art projects which will spark imagination in even the least talented. I enjoy doing musical activities with children, doing theater and role playing, dancing and tumbling activities with them. My area Read more of education is in Nutrition and Health, as well as a growing interest in gardening which I like to have the children learn about and see also. The reason for my interest in caring for children is that, quite simply, I miss the interaction, and find that children are one my joys. ' I look forward to finding the right family (s) that I can bond with and have a positive impact in the lives of each child and even the adults, which is my goal. Susan
