I just graduated in December 2017 with my bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Central Florida. I am American Red Cross CPR, first aid, and lifeguard certified and have been working as a lifeguard for the past 6 years. As a lifeguard I also taught swim lessons to children of all ages from toddles to teenagers. I babysat all throughout high school and found the job truly rewarding. I loved being able to watch the children grow overtime and to witness so many exciting milestones. For the past two years I have volunteered at Camp Boggy Creek which invites children with medical disabilities for a weekend of fun in a medically safe environment. These children never fail to put a smile on my face. I currently seeking employment until I begin medical school in the fall.
