I have always loved working with children—especially groups of kids! Starting in fourth grade (a little young, but somehow allowed haha) my mom and I would serve in the toddler room at our church during the service. As I’ve grown up, I can always remember watching kids in some way. Later on at that same church I taught a first grade Sunday school class for a bit. Not to mention, I’ve also been a summer camp/Vacation Bible School leader multiple years, working with all ages of kids, ranging from preschool to sixth grade. Also, my older sister is a single mom, and I’ve basically been a second mother to her child from infancy until present day (he’s six now), as she raised her son in our house and has lived with us on and off throughout the years. I also have previous nannying experience, as two summers ago I was Read more a temporary summer nanny for a second grade girl flying into Florida to visit her mom for the summer months. With this job, I worked over 40 hours per week and loved every minute. This year, I am a temporary summer nanny for my sister actually, as she is a nurse and needs someone to watch her son during her shifts. I have been working around 52 hours per week, and again, love my job!
