Hey! My name is Sarah, I am 25 yrs old and I have been living in Florida for about 7 yrs now. I originally moved down here from Massachusetts to attend school. I love all things outdoors, along with painting, reading, working out and spending time with family and friends. I have about 11 yrs of general experience with children and 9 yrs paid experience. I have always loved being with children. My mom was the director of the children's ministry at our church up North for years so I have always been in that environment for as long as I can remember. Starting at the age of 13 I always volunteered to help at summer camps, school events for children, and volunteered at the children's ministry whenever I could. I began babysitting when I was 16, and I started my own nanny business at the age of 18. That Read more was when I really began to dig deep into not only how to better care for children but also, how I could be a positive role model and incorporate a healthy and positive lifestyle to the children I would be caring for. I began to study how children absorb absolutely everything around them at an early age. They pick up on energy, habits, vocabulary, emotions, confidence, etc., at such a young age. The more I observed and learned how much of an influence we have on how a child will learn and develop not only physically and mentally but emotionally as well, the more I made it my mission and priority to set forth the best example and positive influence that i could be for any child that I encounter. It could be a child I babysit for just one night or a child I nanny for years. Children are in fact the next generation and the ones who will be running the world after our generation leaves it. How these children will lead their lives, view themselves, and set themselves up for success in their future starts with how we impact and guide them when they are as young as 1 years old. I enjoy creating and implementing strategic daily routines to help your child grow based on their personality, temperament and level of learning with respects to how the parents want their child to be led. I don't view child care as a job. I view it as an opportunity. An opportunity to not only be there to meet their needs but to also learn.
