Hello, my name is Shannon and I recently moved to Ormond Beach with my husband and son. I have a 3 year year old that keeps me busy, but raising him has been the best job I've ever had. I have a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Montana and am a certified teacher. I taught in Hawaii for over 7 years working with mostly third and fourth graders. I have spent the last three years primarily caring for my son, but during that time I have done some babysitting and was a part time nanny for two children. My responsibilities were to pick the children up from school, help them with their homework, take them to various extracurricular activities and prepare them dinner. Although my services were no longer needed, I am still in contact with the children and have become a good friend of the family. Read more I've always and had a desire and passion to work with children and instill in them a love for learning. Outside of teaching I enjoy running, hiking, surfing, golf, yoga, and biking. I also love to travel and exploring new areas is one of may favorite things to do. However, my family is the most important thing in my life so time spent with them is what really brings me joy.
