Hi there! My name is Sydney Harding. I’m 21, newly married, and new to Pensacola. My husband is in the Navy and we are so excited to be in the area. I love Jesus, and from the outpouring of His love, I hope to love and care for your kiddos! I have a degree in human development and a minor in language sciences. My whole time in college was spent studying development and especially language development, making me confident that I would know how to not only care for your children, but help them to grow and progress in their development. I have been babysitting since I was about 14. Before that I was a "Mother's helper," which meant the parents were home while I cared for the kids. I have worked in the nursery at church for years, volunteered at a boys and girls club at an elementary school Read more for months, as well as worked in a Speech and Language therapies office to get shadowing hours. I have spent a lot of time studying and learning how cultivate children's development. In the time that I worked at a Speech and Language therapy office, I worked with many kids with special needs. Majority of the children were 5 and under, but we had some kids come in that were in middle school and high school. I learned specifically how to further their speech skills, but I also grew in behavioral management and how to keep children with special needs safe.
