I worked as an elementary school teacher for 4 years. I taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. I now am a stay at home mom, caring for my wonderful 2 year old daughter. I love staying at home, but at times, I do miss my job, mainly because I miss my students. So I am looking to help other parents who need someone who can care for their child while they are away. I now more than ever understand how difficult it is to find someone you can trust with your own child. As a mother and as a former teacher, I can confidently say that I will put forth my best efforts to ensure your child is safe and happy under my care. As mentioned, I do have a child of my own. So your child/children will be around my child as well. I try to keep my Read more toddler engaged with plenty of activities throughout the day, so your child can partake in any or all of those activities too. This is also a bilingual home. We speak both English and Spanish. I do not intend to work within other peoples' homes. Your child/children will need to be dropped off at my home for care (if transportation is an issue, we can discuss this).
