Hello! My name is Wendy, and I’m a 22-year-old nanny with a passion for childcare. I’ve been in the nanny profession since I was 19 years old, starting with a family of three children ages 2, 6, and 9, whom I cared for on weekends. In that role, I took on various responsibilities, from waking them up in the mornings to preparing their meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also provided transportation to activities with the parents’ permission. After a year, I transitioned to a part-time position Monday through Friday, caring for a 6-month-old baby girl and her 8-year-old brother, with occasional date nights. Most of my day revolved around nurturing the baby while the parents worked from home, and then transitioning to caring for her and her older brother when he returned from school. Over the course of two years, I had the joy of feeding the baby, Read more starting with her mother’s milk and progressing to baby food and solid foods. I also had the pleasure of getting her ready for the day each morning and assisting with bedtime routines on date nights for both kids. One of the highlights of my time with this family was successfully potty training the baby girl, it was a rewarding and fun experience for both of us. This experience was incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, but I recently moved on to a new opportunity outside of childcare. However, I’ve come to realize how much I miss the joy and fulfillment of caring for children. I have a genuine love for kids and would be thrilled to have the opportunity to spend my days creating fun and memorable experiences with them once again.
