Hi Friends! I am an art teacher working for the School District of Palm Beach County. I love my job because I get to make arts and crafts with kids all day! It doesn't get better than that! Currently I am at a special needs school where I work with students who have severe disabilities both physical and cognitive. It is very rewarding. Before this I lived and worked in the city of Philadelphia where I was also an art teacher for ten years. I had over 1000 kids a week and even had a kindergarten class with 40 students. Anyway, I couldn't be happier living and working in Florida now however I definitely need to supplement my income here. This is what led me to join Sittercity. As a government employee I have carried criminal and child abuse clearances for the past decade as well as finger printed and Read more cleared for work by the FBI. I also recently became CPR and First Aid certified. I am looking to babysit over the summer while school is out for summer and would like to carry on sitting during the upcoming school year as well.
