I am new to the Toledo, OH area, as my husbands job relocated us here last August & we found a home in Sylvania. My Husband retired from the Navy in July 2007(after 26 years)and then joined NS Railroad which took us to Avon, OH then here to Toledo. Currently I am a stay at home Mom & a caretaker of my 77 year old Mother who resides with me & my family.  Prior to moving here to Sylvania, OH we were stationed in Avon, OH for 4 1/2 years where I worked for the Avon local school district 2014-15 school year.  I totally loved my job assisting the students & the Special needs & would love to find that passion here in the Toledo area. I also ran 2 very successful certified In home Daycares(1 while we were stationed in Virginia Beach, Va & the other in Avon, OH). Both Daycares I providing full childcare services including educational programs & meals for 5 full time children as well as several part time & drop in children, ages ranging from newborn - 10 years old.   I have several years of prior experience working with & training developmentally challenged & delayed children & adults as an Employment Specialist/Job Coach & Workshop Supervisor. As well as many years of Volunteer work, with my most recent just this past June supporting the Lucas County Cancer Society.  Previous volunteer work was with the Special Olympics, Tiny Tots Safe House, my husband & I were both licensed Foster Care providers through Carpe Diem of Virginia & I was an Ombudmans for my husbands squadron. I also have several years of managerial experience, medical office experience, CPT codes/data entry, referral coordinator, insurance verification, answering & directing multi phone lines, scheduling patient appointments/Doctor appointment & conferences, basic/general various office duties required.
