Hello, my name is Stephanie. I am blessed to be the mother of two extraordinary children who are now young adults. I look at life through a creative lens and when challenges arise, well, we make lemonade out of the lemons. I am a freelance photographer and absolutely love to capture life's moments on film. I am not a stranger to travel. I was an international fashion model for close to 20 years prior to starting my family. My son was practically born on the ocean aboard the M/Y Whales Way and my daughter was born on the beautiful island of Kaua'i, HI. As a family, we moved from HI to Sitka, Alaska when the children were quite young. It would not be the traditional move (flight or ferry) as my husband, at the time, was a captain and we delivered a 34' Californian sport fish to Ketchikan, AK from Read more Bellingham, WA. My son is challenged with Autism. He is the most beautiful and brilliant young man and although his childhood was not typical due to this challenge, I wouldn't change a thing. I learned, hands on, the emotional strength it took, the creative outlets and I found a faith that wouldn't waiver. Today he is attending Full Sail University aspiring to be a recording arts engineer. My daughter, although two years younger than her brother, acts like his older sister. She is finishing up her HS career on-line in order to live with her brother and assist him with the transition into college life. Raising two children in a remote environment, while assisting my husband run and maintain a wilderness sportfish lodge - was my version of ordinary. I am a Virgo and if you follow the zodiac, well, I love my surroundings neat and tidy. Although I am not a trained chef, I do love the culinary arts and the creation of wonderful tasty delights. I lost my younger brother 3 years ago to complications with cancer. I was blessed to spend time with him. His passing gave me the courage to truly look at life in a new perspective. I am naturally a caregiver at heart. I love family, adventure, and a life that makes the exception the rule. Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself.
