I am a Registered Nurse holding a school nurse position, so I have the summers off. I’d like to have a summer job with what I love the most…children. I became a nurse in 1992, began my work in OB/GYN, working to deliver the newborns and then working with new moms and their new infant. I have had several diverse years of experience in nursing, and I do hold a CPR certification. I have 11 years experience as a CPR instructor as well. I also have taught high school for 11 years in the past, so homework and light tutoring is not an issue. I really love my job now as a school nurse because I spend time with grades K-8, helping to meet their daytime needs. Those needs don’t always just include physical such as bandaids.
