Hello, my name is Hailey Goddard. I am a 21 year old looking to make a step forward into pursuing a career, working with children! I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri for the majority of my childhood until now. I will be moving to the Jacksonville area this upcoming July! However; as a young child, I lived in Jacksonville with my mother. Living in Florida is where my interest in working with children began. Fun fact, my mom actually worked under Jax Nanny for several years and during that time, I was occasionally able to go with her to work and get to watch her as she cared for her nanny kids. I discovered a love for children. I believe that the positive impact we make on children is one of the most important jobs. It’s not just about following a list of instructions of how to nanny the Read more child; it’s about showing up for them daily with enthusiasm, making them feel like the most important people in the work, and creating a happy, loving, daily environment for them! The children I pray I’m privileged to nanny, one day, are going to be our future! They are the future. They are the next generation that will be the reason our world is the way that it is. That is my “Why.” I want to know I made a difference through children. While my goal is not to nanny my whole life, but to become an ultrasound technician or pediatric nurse, I strongly believe nannying will be a great fit for me, and a wonderful step in the right direction for pursuing my potential career in the pediatric medical field! I have several years of childcare experience across both private nannying and structured daycare settings, working with children ranging from six months to 10 years old. In my role as a private nanny, I provided full-time care for a one-year-old, managing daily routines including meals, naps, hygiene, and educational play. I created a structured, nurturing environment that supported the child’s development while maintaining flexibility to meet the family’s needs. I also assisted with light housekeeping, organization, and errands, ensuring a safe and well-maintained home. Throughout this experience, I built strong, trusting relationships with both the child and parents, working collaboratively to support the child’s growth.
