I have worked at the YMCA as a Camp Counselor with children from ages 4 to 15 for the past 3 years. I originally started this job at a young age of 17 and fell in love working with kids and how care free and fun they are. Working with kids made me realize how important working with the youth is and that everyone needs a role models in their lives. During camp I would care for children, play games, do arts and crafts, play sports, go to the pool, help with snack/lunch time, keep the day structured, and help teach kids responsibilities. I also worked at an after-school care program with middle school teens where we played games, did community projects, I helped with homework, and played sports.
