The first time I contacted Madison I received no response for several months. When I relisted the job 3 months later she did respond. I made an appointment to meet her but 2 hours before the appointment she said she was sick and could not make it. Because it was near Thanksgiving I suggested we meet the following Monday. She responded the Wed. before the holiday and I was out of town. She texted me on Sat. following Thanksgiving and asked if Monday was still the scheduled meeting time. She said Monday at 3:30 would be fine. I responded that I still wanted to meet on Monday, she asked me to send my address. I sent it on Sunday night and she read my e-mail on Sunday ( my phone reported it as being read). When I say I will meet someone at a certain time I make it a priority to be there and do not need to confirm multiple times. I sent an e-mail 45 minutes prior to our meeting to confirm, sent a text , left a phone message and followed up with a note on Sitter City. Sitter City reported she had been on their website that day ( 11-30) but I never heard from Madison. She simply did not show up, call, or text and still has not bothered to contact me. She is also listed on Care.com. I would not suggest you invest your time trying to contact her or set an appointment because she is likely not to show up, which wastes everyone's time. If a sitter can't show up to meet a new client then I have very little confidence in her ability to show up on time to watch someones children. She is the second sitter I contacted that did not show up as scheduled so I assume its a generational problem as they were of similar age. This was not a communication problem. I was clear in communication and responded accordingly and she read all of my texts and e-mails, so I really cannot recommend her.
