I am a retired elementary school teacher who is returning to Saint Petersburg after caring for family members in Europe then in California for the past 7 years. Five years were spent caring for parents with dementia and I was the full-time caretaker for my now 19 month old grandson. It brings me great joy to be able to help others. Additionally, since I hold a California K-8 teaching credential (and formerly held one in Florida) I have worked as a freelance curriculum design and teacher helping families who are homeschooling or world-schooling their children. Therefore, I am qualified to assist children (and parents too) with distance learning that is being implemented due to COVID. I will be available once I have permanently moved to Saint Petersburg after September 28th. Because I have family obligations in California I will need to return for long weekends once a month.
