Hello! My name is Kirsten and I have been a babysitter, nanny, and daycare provider for 12+ years, watching children of all ages. I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and have lived here in St. Pete for about 5 years. Most recently, I worked for one family with a 6 month old and 6 year old. As word spread of my responsibility, and strong rapport with both the children and parents, I was recommended to another family which resulted in me being responsible for three children simultaneously 5 days a week for 6 hours a day. During this time I was facilitating online schooling during COVID as well as providing additional tutoring. As a Human Development major with a concentration in early childhood development I enjoy applying my knowledge of childhood developmental stages when organizing activities, games, and projects that enhance childenś physical, emotional, and social well-being. I also am a former competitive swimmer with experience teaching swimming lessons and working with kids to build their confidence in water. As well as playing with the children I will cook meals, prepare snacks, and perform light housework. What I love most about being a sitter is the relationships I have formed with the children and families I work with, staying with some families for 8+ years .
