Hello! I am a 55 year old homeschooling mom (born and raised in Sweden- moved to Florida at age 23) with three teenage children - boy who will be 19 in September, girl who is 16 and another girl who is almost 14. I had children late in life and I loved staying home with them. We have traveled a lot and explored the world and the outdoors. I worked as a firefighter for almost 12 years in Arlington, VA from 2002 until 2014 when I resigned to be a full-time SAHM. At that time we moved to Florida and became part of the large and wonderful Pinellas County homeschooling community. I believe in peaceful parenting and natural consequences, as well as honest communication between the adult and child. I love playing, teaching and being outdoors with the children.
