Hi! My name is Sophia and I am a local to Sarasota who loves childlike nature, curiosity, and joy! I have always loved working with children as I am a natural nurturer. I attended university in London and recently I’ve returned back after living and working abroad for the past 4 years in 20+ countries. I attended Pine View school for the gifted and played 3 varsity sports and coached volleyball to kids for a few years (so I can run around with your little ones all day haha!) ,I worked every summer for Sarasota park and recreation. I taught private tutoring. I I became Red Cross certified, and at the age of 17 became a nanny for a family, working 20-40 hours a week. I adore the family and baby I worked with for a long period and am still very close with them. I started working with the Read more baby when she was 5 months and when I stopped working as I had to leave for university, she was 2 years old. I speak Spanish and am currently working on German and French so I can help with fun language education. I am very passionate about education, both in academics and life. I have an autistic brother so I have experience working with children with disabilities. I think children are brilliant and I strive to create an environment that allows them to feel comfortable and happy!
