Hello, My name is Alicia, I have a Bachelors Degree in Child Development, an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, and an Associates Degree in Child Development, I have a Florida State Teaching Certificate for birth through 5 years old. I have lots of experiencing working with children. I started working with children when I was 16, I became the leader of my church's youth group and daycare for Sunday school. When I graduated high school I worked with adults with disabilities providing respite and support services in home through the state. I worked as a paraprofessional working with middle school and high school aged children with emotional disturbances and then later switched to working with preschoolers with Autism. I moved to Florida in 2022 and had my son in May, soon after I started teaching for Marion County Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher, I taught 2nd and Read more 3rd grade children with Autism and Down Syndrome. I left my position was a teacher to find a job where I can bring my now 13 month old son. On my free time I enjoy taking my son to parks, the library, ZooTampa, SeaWorld and Disney World (we are season passholders). I love reading and spending time with our animals, we currently have a pet pig, two Great Pyrenees dogs, and a Jack Russel Dachshund mix. We also enjoy going to the beach.
