Hello! My name is Rafael Vergara, you can call me Rafa. I'm the oldest of FOUR boys, and was raised in a VERY structured and loving household. I'm finishing up my bachelor's in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry, psychology, as well as a certificate in Emergency Prehospital Medicine. In addition to being a full-time student, I found myself eventually working at TMH and Leon County EMS as an Emergency Medical Technician. I also currently work at Florida State University in the Medical Response Unit as well, which I've been a part of since 2019. Basic facts about me aside, I love every second I spend with my patients in healthcare, and I also loved every second I spent with my younger sibling (which I've essentially spent a lifetime babysitting).
