I have devoted my life to working with children of all ages. I have been a Nanny for ages 0 - 5 years of age, a Youth Leader working with Pre-teens and Teens, A Missionary leading teams of young women 13 - 21 years of age on month long mission trips overseas as well as devoting the past 15 years to working with children with special needs, specializing in Autism. This particular field has allowed me to work across the United States in addition to Romania, Dominican Republic and Guatemala. I love children and love seeing/experiencing life through their eyes. As a young 50 year old woman, have chosen to resettle in Pinellas County to be near my parents and enjoy them as they enter into elderly phase of life. Family is important to me and I am blessed to have family here as well as in Texas where I Read more grew up. Texan by heart, Floridian by choice! That's me. My children are of the 4 legged kind. I have a 7 year old Jackahuahua (Jack Russel/Chihuahua mix) girl and an 8 year old toy mini yorkie boy. I guess I should also include the stray Kitty who has adopted us, but still lives outdoors; however, I am the only human she trusts. She allowed her first litter of babies to be housed in my apartment, working out a deal with me that she would come in to feed them then she would head back outside. She is pregnant once again, and this time I WILL get her spayed in time!!! As you can see, I am a huge animal lover except for reptiles. There are very few reptiles I will engage with. Find them fascinating from a distance but please do not ask me to get up close and personal!!
