I am an auntie of three, soon to be four, nieces and nephews. I like to keep a scheduled routine with children and provide outdoor play so they can grow, develop, and learn about the world. I try to actively curb children's' amount of screen time and get them to actively read or play games. I am neat, clean, and can keep an environment organized as well. In addition, I adore teaching children how the world and how certain things work. I am a creative person and can come up with ideas for games and also reach a group decision if there are multiple children who disagree with each other. I do feel more comfortable working with older children whom are continent, as I am not all that comfortable and competent in changing a diaper. I can cook them meals according to their normal diet as well. I have had Read more CPR/BLS training and I earned a BA in psychology at 19 years old. I have excellent people (and pet!) skills. I am currently a second semester nursing student, so I do have basic skills in helping when it comes to taking care of sick children (so long as they are not seriously infectious). I can take vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, and their respiration rate) and do short physical assessments.
