I am recently retired from a career of teaching (elementary and high school) and academic advising at the university level. I have a passion for helping students with study skills and being ready for college—both the academic and non-academic skills needed (motivation, self-advocacy, etc.) There is so much more to education than academic skills. I have raised 4 adult children and served as a firm parent for middle school boys at a boarding school. I’m comfortable with all ages, but especially love working with middle school and older. My educational background is Linguistics, French, Spanish, and education.
