Hello! I’m Mel. My lifelong passion is to help anyone I can, especially children and their families. I’ve been a babysitter for the majority of my life. From taking care of my younger sisters while my mother had chronic health issues throughout our childhoods, to working in my former church’s childcare ministry for 5 years, and caring for the children of church members, friends, coworkers, and even a few attempts in daycares/preschools, child care has been the most rewarding job I’ve worked in any setting. Adulthood is challenging. I strive to help children enjoy their childhoods to the fullest, as well as all of the parents that could use a friendly helping hand. I’ll always be a big kid at heart. If I still like to sing silly songs, play around outside, color, AND help with homework, I’d love to share my intelligent creative silliness and care!
