My name is Laura and I am a junior journalism major at Howard University. I've been a sitter for a few years. I started a babysitting business back in high school where I babysat for friends and family whose kids varied in age. Once I enrolled in college, I was able to partake in a program called Jumpstart where I worked with preschoolers in preparing them for kindergarten. Jumpstart is dedicated to increasing preschoolers literacy and language skills. I also worked for a non-profit organization in D. C. called Playtime Project where I worked in a shelter and took care of newborns/infants and toddlers. I really enjoy children and helping people. I hope I can do the same for you and your family.
