Hi Family! I was born and raised in a beautiful town just outside Cape Town in South Africa. Four years ago I moved to Taiwan to teach English as a foreign language. Not only did I take this step because I adore children and love helping them, but I also knew this would be an opportunity for me to grow as an individual. Being able to help children learn while having fun, plus see them grow and evolve, warmed my heart. That was the moment I discovered that I would love being a caregiver as I would receive opportunities to put more of my time and focus on the children, their needs and growth. I recently completed my year as an au pair here in the United States with a company called Cultural Care Au Pair where I was looking after 4 kids of which one of them had special Read more needs. I am a bubbly person that loves meeting new people and interacting with others. I’m always up for a new adventure and exploring. I’ve always been a patience person but taking care of children, has taught me to be more patient. It has taught me to expect the unexpected, that communication is key and perseverance is crucial. It has highlighted the importance of knowing how to deal with certain behaviors or personalities children may have. I am super excited to meet you and finally start growing a strong bond.
