Hello, my name is Jose Garcia and I am a recent graduate from Emory University. I enjoy going on hikes, reading, cooking, writing, and having good conversations. I have volunteered as an academic tutor from students in first grade to 12th grade, as well as volunteered at Church childcare services. I love being a sitter because it allows me to form connections with parents and children which all members involved can learn and grow from each other. As a sitter, I would love to help provide homework assistance, participate in physical activity, and serve as a figure of trust and knowledge for the family I am sitting. I have also co-lead activities at a boys and girls club, and would be able to incorporate the lessons and activities to provide enrichment opportunities for the child I am sitting for.
