I am a capable, loving and mature person who enjoys caring for children. Having had considerable experience sitting children ranging from the ages of one month old to five years old, I also have taught French to children in third grade through ninth grade. I enjoy creative games and activities, supervising developmental play, singing and reading aloud with children, arts and crafts, drama, and outdoor activities. I also enjoy telling and listening to stories and laughing, and am a good one-person audience. Once after a four-year-old and I had explored the world of volcanoes together from his encyclopedia, he said to me, "You're the nicest girl I know besides my sister, Beth." What a charmer! My husband and I are currently elders in our congregation, and have volunteered much time there both teaching and supervising elementary school age children. I am comfortable with pets with the exception of cats since, as cute as they are, I am allergic to them. It would be my preference to work on weekdays.
