I have nannies my nephew and nieces. But more importantly, I'm an elementary school music teacher with 3 and a half years of experience! I teach pre-k through 5th grade students and have also worked with students up to high school seniors. Although I enjoy being a music teacher, I am ready to go to a more domestic lifestyle while still helping children and teaching them. I believe teaching translates very well to being a nanny. I have to wear so many hats an elementary school teacher. I nurse students if they happen to get hurt, I console them and they find it very comforting. I teach around 600 children and I know all of my students names, which is extremely important in forming a healthy relationship with anyone. I have a great relationship with parents as well, keeping in contact with them regularly, which they welcome and appreciate. I have experience working with children with down syndrome, autism, asperger syndrome, add, and adhd. I'm about to accommodate children to their needs completely. In addition to music, I'm also very interested in languages, English, writing, poetry, reading, art, painting, drawing, hiking, nature, animals, cooking and baking, basketball! I really am very interested in a lot of things and I believe I would make a wonderful nanny to your child(ren)!
