My name is Amelia but I go by Fern. Before COVID, I worked at a preschool called the Willow School before I was let go due to COVID. Currently, I work for The Knight School and I teach chess to elementary students while I am enrolled at KSU in the education program. I have babysat previously and was a full-time nanny before I enrolled in college. I also have experience with special needs children because I have an autistic brother. I prefer working with elementary aged children because I want to teach 3rd grade, but I have been trained in working with children as young as 4 months old.
