Hi friends ! My name is Leilani but I go by Lali :) I’ve always loved working with children. I love seeing them grow and experience life through a completely different perspective. It melts my heart when I teach them anything, it could be the word “ball” or “baby” and it excites me beyond belief. When I was younger my parents worked a lot, so at a young age I was taking care of my little sister after school for a couple of hours. She’s all grown now so I looked into daycare jobs. When I was about 14-15 years old, I worked with BYF for 2 summers at a head start. Once I got older maybe 18 years old I began looking into daycares again, I worked at OFLC for almost 3 years. They had me as a assistant teacher, sometimes I would be the main teacher, which meant Read more I had to be with 3 infants by myself. I’d say I do pretty well when I am under pressure, kids shouting and crying don’t bother me as much as it would a regular person because it just means that they are uncomfortable or upset and that can definitely be fixed. I am working a full-time now from 730-430 but I wouldn’t mind caring for children on my spare time. I can be a babysitter, temporary nanny, dog sitter, etc. My job is to care and teach these kids as much as I can. To treat each and everyone one of them as if they were my own and they will always have my undivided attention! Thank you.
