I have loved children, especially infants my whole life. In fact, I started babysitting kids in my neighborhood as soon as I turned 12. I was a daily babysitter for two particular families over my summer vacations until I turned 16 and started a part-time job. While I was waiting to leave for Air Force Basic Training, I was a full-time nanny for a family for a year. They had an infant with severe cholic and a 2-year-old who certainly needed attention. I went with them to the grocery store and took the boys outside while their mother cleaned, and then would stay late into the night sometimes while their parents went out on dates.
