I met with Taylor after doing a phone interview. We had a good discussion and began the review process. I told her that we lived quite a long way from her apartment but she assured me she was ok with the drive. I authorized her background check (which is now available on the site) and she provided her relevant contact info and personal info like drivers license, etc. I confirmed when we would meet her to begin work and she sent back texts to confirm. On the day she was suppose to meet me at the house to begin work and get an orientation, she never showed up. No call, no text, no email. She just vanished.I left a vmail and numerous texts but have not heard back from Taylor. I have never encountered this situation with anyone I've used through this site or with other nannies in the past. Very disappointing.
