I began babysitting at age 12. I grew up assisting at a camp during the summer for children in DFCS at age 8. I was an overnight counselor there from age 14 to 18. I was assistant director of the camp at age 19. Through high school i completed the Early Childhood Education Pathway. During this course I was CPR and fire safety certified. This involved me being an intern or a teacher's assistant in the lab preschool. I was an intern for 3 years. At age 20 I was the children's minister intern and was responsible for planning bible studies and VBS. At age 21 I became a mom to a beautiful baby girl. At age 22 I was the paraprofessional at the ECE lab school. I was the lead teacher in the preschool lab and oversaw the high school students write and teach their lesson plans. I am Read more in the process of returning to school to receive my teaching certificate. My passion is working with children and I have had experience with every age group.
