Born and raised in Decatur I started working with small children at a young age. My aunt owned a daycare and I helped for many years while in grade school. I am also the oldest of 7 grandchildren and several younger cousins who I helped raise and care for. I started babysitting in the 6th grade and realized that working with children is a passion. When I got to high school my learning path was childcare and I spend my years there completing childcare courses and volunteering in the on campus daycare. I started working a first school the daycare at first baptist church in Decatur and continued to work there until the quarantine. I am CPR and First Aid certified. Although I have worked with children of all ages, I really enjoy working with infants-3 year olds.
