Hi! My name is Ellen Wall. I am in-between permenant jobs right now looking for the right fit for my talents and experience! I have a BA degree in music with a minor in Early Child Development, I am current in both my CPR and First Aid certifications for infants - adult and I speak basic Spanish, Italian, German and French. I am looking for an opportunity to work with some wonderful new families on an on call as needed or consistent care basis. I have worked as a professional nanny for over 16 years and still have the energy and passion to continue this wonderful career. I have a music and art background which I use when working with children in accordance with their age, I can tutor and enjoy teaching and encouraging children in a fun and positive way! I bring out the best in each individual child! Read more For toddlers - school age, I tutor, encourage music, story time, play board games, WII and age appropriate arts & crafts as well as outdoor activities including daily trips and walks to the park to name a few. In addition, I am a NEWBORN/INFANT SPECIALIST and have a very nurturing and patient disposition! If you need newborn care during the day or to assist you at night for a week or more with your little one, I am experienced in the care of newborns and available! In regards to my newborn experience, I cared for a baby boy since his first week on the earth. I started out as his night nanny with routine feedings and sleep scheduling till he gained enough weight to sleep through the night. I then became is day nanny where I worked with him developmentally, put him on a wonderful eat, play and sleep schedule and gave him the overall encouragement to develop and to thrive. I also do laundry, prepare food and prepare/sterilize bottles, as the children get older I encourage them to pick up after themselves but help them in along in a positive way! My nanny style is patient, nurturing, positive and outgoing! I have a lot of energy and enjoy keeping busy! Children are my heart and I someone that they can easily relate to and depend on!
