When it comes to child care, I am a very mature and responsible 18 year old. I was adopted, then raised by a couple who took in between 30 - 40 foster children and I played a major part in their care as I grew older. When my foster sister had a baby I was 14 and she became “my baby” Since getting my license at 16 I have taken her to and from church, doctors appointments, preschool, prepared her meals and was responsible for bed and bath time. I also worked two jobs, one of which was at a daycare center where I was assistant teacher. I intend to go into Early Childhood Development, and this is the only job I have ever really wanted. I have my own car and insurance and would be willing to pick up and drop off children if necessary.
