Hey! I am Alizé! I’m a 24 year old senior degree candidate at Grambling State University for Juvenile Behavioral studies and management. People are my passion and I love animals! I’m highly organized, energetic and my commitment to youth advocacy has played a major role in my life. I previously worked as a Recreation Lead for 5 years at a park agency in the Bay Area, Ca where I performed a variety of recreational activities in support of day camps, overnight camping trips and afterschool programs. I mostly worked with 5-12 year olds in the summer and with older teens in the fall/winter months. I had an internship with United Way Bay Area where I helped youth and young adults stay in school, identify their interests, and find a path to well-paying jobs and internships through Business pathways and Youth Workforce partnerships. I also worked as a substitute teacher at Read more West Contra Costa School District, a recruiter for Onyx Scholars where we help underrepresented youth get to college and I’ve assisted with the youth department at my home church on numerous occasions. I of course helped with the care of my younger cousins growing up. I’m currently working at Dogtopia as a canine coach but my hobbies include writing, mindfulness, digital arts/graphic design and I love to cook! I have do hair as a side hustle. I just recently moved to Atlanta in November and I’m just looking for an opportunity to get back on my feet while helping those around me. I had a car but I lost it do to maintenance issues but I do have a valid Driver’s license. I’m am willing to get CPR/ First Air certified and i have a food handlers card if that counts for something.
