Let me just start by saying that I LOVE KIDS! My strong love and passion for children is the main reason why I have become a full-time caregiver. During my college years, I started babysitting for a couple of families in my church and I just loved it. I would care for two children at a time for date nights as well as overnight stays. After college, I started working at a special needs elementary school as a Physical Education teacher/Paraprofessional. I did that for 3 1/2 years and LOVED every minute of it. It was certainly rewarding and a joy to see my kids learn and grow from the time they started school. Working there taught me a lot of patience, to love others who are different from me, and to stand up for those who don't have a voice. I had an AMAZING time! After doing that, I learned that I wanted to do more with children and be more hands-on as well. I believe it's my purpose to work with children and to instill Christian values in their lives. With all that being said, whenever I'm allowed to provide care for your family I will do my best to be an extension of the parents and love and treat their kids as they would.
